פֶּלֶא suff. פִּלְאִי m.

(1)  something wonderful, admirable, a miracle of God, Exodus 15:11; Psalms 77:12, 15 Psalms 77:15, 78:12 88:11. Plural פְּלָאִים adverb wonderfully, Lamentations 1:9 פְּלָאוֹת wonderful things, Daniel 12:6.

(2) concr. admirable, distinguished (used of Messiah the king), Isaiah 9:5.
