		Gesenius' Hebrew and Chaldee Definition
כֶּשֶׂד [Chesed], pr.n. of a son of Nahor, the brother of Abraham, Genesis 22:22. He is perhaps mentioned in this place, so that the origin of the Chaldeans (כַּשְׂדִּים) may be derived form him. Compare אַרְפַּכְשַׁד. [The Chaldeans are mentioned in Gen 11:1-32, so that they could not be derived from this son of Nahor.]
