1) one of the princes of Jehoshaphat whom he sent to teach the law of Jehovah in the cities of Judah
2) daughter of Uriel of Gibeah, wife of king Rehoboam of Judah, and mother of king Abijah of Judah

(1) of a captain of King Jehoshaphat, 2 Chronicles 17:7.
(2) the wife of Rehoboam, the daughter of Uriel, 2 Chronicles 13:2 compare however 2 Chronicles 11:21, 22 2 Chronicles 11:22; 1 Kings 15:2, in which passages this wife of Rehoboam, the mother of Abijah, is called Maachah (מַעֲכָה) the daughter of Absalom.
