מַקְהֵלוֹת plur. f. (from the root קָהַר), Psalms 68:27, assemblies, congregations, especially of those who praise God, choirs. This latter form is also [Makheloth], pr.n. of a station of the Israelites in the desert, Numbers 33:25.
