1) a Levitical city in Issachar allotted to the Gershonites
עָנֵם (“two fountains,” compare עָנִים, and as to dual ending in ־ֵ־ם see Lehrg. p.536) [Anem], pr.n. of a town in the tribe of Issachar, 1 Chronicles 6:58 for which there is in the parallel places, Joshua 19:21, 21:29 עֵין־גַּנִּים (the fountain of the garden).
