Amon was twentie and two yeres old when he began to reigne, and he reigned two yeeres in Ierusalem: and his mothers name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Haruz of Iotbah.

And he walked in all the wayes that his father walked in, and serued the idoles that his father serued, and worshipped them:

And the people of the land slew al them that had conspired against king Amon, and the people of the land made Iosiah his sonne king in his stead.
