Then Dauid returned to blesse his houshold: and Michal the daughter of Saul came out to meete Dauid, and said, How glorious was the King of Israel to day, who vncouered himselfe to day in the eyes of the handmaids of his seruants, as one of the vaine fellowes shamelessely vncouereth himselfe!

And Dauid said vnto Michal, It was before the Lord, which chose me before thy father, & before all his house, to appoint me ruler ouer the people of the Lord, ouer Israel: therefore will I play before the Lord.

And I will yet be more vile then thus, and will be base in mine owne sight: and of the maid seruants which thou hast spoken of, of them shall I be had in honour.

Therefore Michal the daughter of Saul had no childe vnto the day of her death.
