My brethren, haue not the faith of our Lord Iesus Christ the Lord of glorie, with respect of persons.

For if there come vnto your assembly a man with a gold ring, in goodly apparel, and there come in also a poore man, in vile raiment:
James 2:3

And yee haue respect to him that weareth the gay clothing, and say vnto him, Sit thou here in a good place: and say to the poore, Stand thou there, or sit here vnder my footstoole:

Are yee not then partiall in your selues, and are become iudges of euill thoughts?
James 2:5

Hearken, my beloued brethren, Hath not God chosen the poore of this world, rich in faith, and heires of the kingdome, which hee hath promised to them that loue him?
James 2:6

But yee haue despised the poore. Doe not rich men oppresse you, and draw you before the Iudgement seats?
James 2:7

Doe not they blaspheme that worthy Name, by the which ye are called?
