And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of euery citie, he spake by a parable:

A Sower went out to sowe his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the wayes side, and it was troden downe, and the foules of the aire deuoured it.

And some fell vpon a rocke, and assoone as it was sprung vp, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.

And some fell among thornes, and the thornes sprang vp with it, and choked it.
