The priests, the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speak these words in the house of the Lord .

But as soon as Jeremiah finished telling all the people everything the Lord had commanded(m) him to say, the priests, the prophets and all the people seized(n) him and said, "You must die!(o)

A Letter to the Exiles

This is the text of the letter(a) that the prophet Jeremiah sent from Jerusalem to the surviving elders among the exiles and to the priests, the prophets and all the other people Nebuchadnezzar had carried into exile from Jerusalem to Babylon.(b)
