NAS My little children, I am writing these things to you so that you may not sin. And if anyone sins, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous;
NA26 Τεκνία μου, ταῦτα γράφω (5719) ὑμῖν ἵνα μὴ ἁμάρτητε. (5632) καὶ ἐάν τις ἁμάρτῃ, (5632) παράκλητον ἔχομεν (5719) πρὸς τὸν πατέρα, Ἰησοῦν Χριστὸν δίκαιον·
WH τεκνια μου ταυτα γραφω (5719) υμιν ινα μη αμαρτητε (5632) και εαν τις αμαρτη (5632) παρακλητον εχομεν (5719) προς τον πατερα ιησουν χριστον δικαιον

NAS I have written to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God remains in you, and you have overcome the evil one.
NA26 ἔγραψα (5656) ὑμῖν, παιδία, ὅτι ἐγνώκατε (5758) τὸν πατέρα. ἔγραψα (5656) (5656) ὑμῖν, πατέρες, ὅτι ἐγνώκατε (5758) τὸν ἀπ ἀρχῆς. ἔγραψα ὑμῖν, νεανίσκοι, ὅτι ἰσχυροί ἐστε (5748) καὶ ὁ λόγος τοῦ θεοῦ ἐν ὑμῖν μένει (5719) καὶ νενικήκατε (5758) τὸν πονηρόν.
