NAS – "The LORD will return his blood on his own head, because he struck two men more righteous and better than he, and killed them with the sword, while my father David did not know {about it:} Abner the son of Ner, commander of the army of Israel, and Amasa the son of Jether, commander of the army of Judah.
ALE – והשיב יהוה את דמו על ראשו אשר פגע בשני אנשים צדקים וטבים ממנו ויהרגם בחרב לא ידע את אבנר בן נר שר צבא ישראל ואת עמשא בן יתר שר צבא יהודה
BHS – וְהֵשִׁיב֩ יְהוָ֙ה אֶת־דָּמֹ֜ו עַל־רֹאשֹׁ֗ו אֲשֶׁ֣ר פָּגַ֣ע בִּשְׁנֵֽי־֠אֲנָשִׁים צַדִּקִ֙ים וְטֹבִ֤ים מִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ וַיַּהַרְגֵ֣ם בַּחֶ֔רֶב וְאָבִ֥י דָוִ֖ד לֹ֣א יָדָ֑ע אֶת־אַבְנֵ֤ר בֶּן־נֵר֙ שַׂר־צְבָ֣א יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאֶת־עֲמָשָׂ֥א בֶן־יֶ֖תֶר שַׂר־צְבָ֥א יְהוּדָֽה׃
MAS – והשׁיב יהוה את דמו על ראשׁו אשׁר פגע בשׁני אנשׁים צדקים וטבים ממנו ויהרגם בחרב ואבי דוד לא ידע את אבנר בן נר שׂר צבא ישׂראל ואת עמשׂא בן יתר שׂר צבא יהודה
WLC – וְהֵשִׁיב֩ יְהוָ֙ה אֶת־דָּמֹ֜ו עַל־רֹאשֹׁ֗ו אֲשֶׁ֣ר פָּגַ֣ע בִּשְׁנֵֽי־֠אֲנָשִׁים צַדִּקִ֙ים וְטֹבִ֤ים מִמֶּ֙נּוּ֙ וַיַּהַרְגֵ֣ם בַּחֶ֔רֶב וְאָבִ֥י דָוִ֖ד לֹ֣א יָדָ֑ע אֶת־אַבְנֵ֤ר בֶּן־נֵר֙ שַׂר־צְבָ֣א יִשְׂרָאֵ֔ל וְאֶת־עֲמָשָׂ֥א בֶן־יֶ֖תֶר שַׂר־צְבָ֥א יְהוּדָֽה׃
RAH – καὶ ἀπέστρεψεν κύριος τὸ αἷμα τῆς ἀδικίας αὐτοῦ εἰς κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ, ὡς ἀπήντησεν τοῖς δυσὶν ἀνθρώποις τοῖς δικαίοις καὶ ἀγαθοῖς ὑπὲρ αὐτὸν καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν αὐτοὺς ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ, καὶ ὁ πατήρ μου Δαυιδ οὐκ ἔγνω τὸ αἷμα αὐτῶν, τὸν Αβεννηρ υἱὸν Νηρ ἀρχιστράτηγον Ισραηλ καὶ τὸν Αμεσσα υἱὸν Ιεθερ ἀρχιστράτηγον Ιουδα·
SWE – καὶ ἀπέστρεψεν Κύριος τὸ αἷμα τῆς ἀδικίας αὐτοῦ εἰς κεφαλὴν αὐτοῦ· καὶ ἀπήντησεν τοῖς δυσὶν ἀνθρώποις τοῖς δικαίοις καὶ ἀγαθοῖς ὑπὲρ αὐτὸν καὶ ἀπέκτεινεν αὐτοὺς ἐν ῥομφαίᾳ, καὶ ὁ πατήρ μου Δαυεὶδ οὐκ ἔγνω τὸ αἷμα αὐτῶν, τὸν Ἀβεννὴρ υἱὸν Νὴρ ἀρχιστράτηγον Ἰσραὴλ καὶ τὸν Ἀμεσσὰ τὸν Ἰέθερ ἀρχιστράτηγον Ἰούδα.
