NAS – Paul and Barnabas spoke out boldly and said, "It was necessary that the word of God be spoken to you first. Since you repudiate it and consider yourselves unworthy of eternal life, behold, we are turning to the Gentiles.
NA26 – παρρησιασάμενοί (5666) τε ὁ Παῦλος καὶ ὁ Βαρναβᾶς εἶπαν, (5627) Ὑμῖν ἦν (5713) ἀναγκαῖον πρῶτον λαληθῆναι (5683) τὸν λόγον τοῦ θεοῦ· ἐπειδὴ ἀπωθεῖσθε (5736) αὐτὸν καὶ οὐκ ἀξίους κρίνετε (5719) ἑαυτοὺς τῆς αἰωνίου ζωῆς, ἰδοὺ (5628) στρεφόμεθα (5743) εἰς τὰ ἔθνη.

NAS – When the Gentiles heard this, they {began} rejoicing and glorifying the word of the Lord; and all who had been appointed to eternal life believed.
NA26 – ἀκούοντα (5723) δὲ τὰ ἔθνη ἔχαιρον (5707) καὶ ἐδόξαζον τὸν λόγον τοῦ κυρίου, καὶ ἐπίστευσαν (5656) ὅσοι ἦσαν (5713) τεταγμένοι (5772) εἰς ζωὴν αἰώνιον·
