NAS – "Then I fell down before the LORD like the first {time,} for forty days and nights; I neither ate bread nor drank water, because of all your sin which you had committed by doing what was evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke Him to anger.
ALE – ואתנפל לפני יהוה כראשנה ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה אכלתי ומים לא שתיתי על כל חטאתכם אשר חטאתם לעשות הרע בעיני יהוה להכעיסו
BHS – וָֽאֶתְנַפַּל֩ לִפְנֵ֨י יְהוָ֜ה כָּרִאשֹׁנָ֗ה אַרְבָּעִ֥ים יֹום֙ וְאַרְבָּעִ֣ים לַ֔יְלָה לֶ֚חֶם לֹ֣א אָכַ֔לְתִּי וּמַ֖יִם לֹ֣א שָׁתִ֑יתִי עַ֤ל כָּל־חַטַּאתְכֶם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חֲטָאתֶ֔ם לַעֲשֹׂ֥ות הָרַ֛ע בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה לְהַכְעִיסֹֽו׃
MAS – ואתנפל לפני יהוה כראשׁנה ארבעים יום וארבעים לילה לחם לא אכלתי ומים לא שׁתיתי על כל חטאתכם אשׁר חטאתם לעשׂות הרע בעיני יהוה להכעיסו
WLC – וָֽאֶתְנַפַּל֩ לִפְנֵ֨י יְהוָ֜ה כָּרִאשֹׁנָ֗ה אַרְבָּעִ֥ים יֹום֙ וְאַרְבָּעִ֣ים לַ֔יְלָה לֶ֚חֶם לֹ֣א אָכַ֔לְתִּי וּמַ֖יִם לֹ֣א שָׁתִ֑יתִי עַ֤ל כָּל־חַטַּאתְכֶם֙ אֲשֶׁ֣ר חֲטָאתֶ֔ם לַעֲשֹׂ֥ות הָרַ֛ע בְּעֵינֵ֥י יְהוָ֖ה לְהַכְעִיסֹֽו׃
RAH – καὶ ἐδεήθην ἐναντίον κυρίου δεύτερον καθάπερ καὶ τὸ πρότερον τεσσαράκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ τεσσαράκοντα νύκτας. — ἄρτον οὐκ ἔφαγον καὶ ὕδωρ οὐκ ἔπιον. — περὶ πασῶν τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν ὑμῶν, ὧν ἡμάρτετε ποιῆσαι τὸ πονηρὸν ἐναντίον κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ ὑμῶν παροξῦναι αὐτόν.
SWE – καὶ ἐδεήθην ἐναντίον Κυρίου δεύτερον καθάπερ καὶ τὸ πρότερον τεσσεράκοντα ἡμέρας καὶ τεσσεράκοντα νύκτας· ἄρτον οὐκ ἔφαγον καὶ ὕδωρ οὐκ ἔπιον· περὶ πασῶν τῶν ἁμαρτιῶν ὑμῶν ὧν ἡμάρτετε, ποιῆσαι τὸ πονηρὸν ἐναντίον Κυρίου τοῦ θεοῦ παροξῦναι αὐτόν.
