NAS – "Is it a fast like this that I choose, a day for a person to humble himself? Is it for bowing one's head like a reed And for spreading out sackcloth and ashes as a bed? Will you call this a fast, even an acceptable day to the LORD?
ALE – הכזה יהיה צום אבחרהו אדם נפשו הלכף כאגמן ראשו ושק ואפר יציע צום ויום רצון ליהוה
BHS – הֲכָזֶ֗ה יִֽהְיֶה֙ צֹ֣ום אֶבְחָרֵ֔הוּ יֹ֛ום עַנֹּ֥ות אָדָ֖ם נַפְשֹׁ֑ו הֲלָכֹ֨ף כְּאַגְמֹ֜ן רֹאשֹׁ֗ו וְשַׂ֤ק וָאֵ֙פֶר֙ יַצִּ֔יעַ הֲלָזֶה֙ תִּקְרָא־צֹ֔ום וְיֹ֥ום רָצֹ֖ון לַיהוָֽה׃
MAS – הכזה יהיה צום אבחרהו יום ענות אדם נפשׁו הלכף כאגמן ראשׁו ושׂק ואפר יציע הלזה תקרא צום ויום רצון ליהוה
WLC – הֲכָזֶ֗ה יִֽהְיֶה֙ צֹ֣ום אֶבְחָרֵ֔הוּ יֹ֛ום עַנֹּ֥ות אָדָ֖ם נַפְשֹׁ֑ו הֲלָכֹ֨ף כְּאַגְמֹ֜ן רֹאשֹׁ֗ו וְשַׂ֤ק וָאֵ֙פֶר֙ יַצִּ֔יעַ הֲלָזֶה֙ תִּקְרָא־צֹ֔ום וְיֹ֥ום רָצֹ֖ון לַיהוָֽה׃
RAH – οὐ ταύτην τὴν νηστείαν ἐξελεξάμην καὶ ἡμέραν ταπεινοῦν ἄνθρωπον τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ· οὐδ᾿ ἂν κάμψῃς ὡς κρίκον τὸν τράχηλόν σου καὶ σάκκον καὶ σποδὸν ὑποστρώσῃ, οὐδ᾿ οὕτως καλέσετε νηστείαν δεκτήν.
SWE – οὐ ταύτην τὴν νηστείαν ἐξελεξάμην, καὶ ἡμέραν ταπεινοῦν ἄνθρωπον τὴν ψυχὴν αὐτοῦ· οὐδ᾽ ἂν κάμψῃς ὡς κρίκον τὸν τράχηλόν σου, καὶ σάκκον καὶ σποδὸν ὑποστρώσῃ, οὐδ᾽ οὕτως καλέσετε νηστείαν δεκτήν.
