NAS – And they asked Him, saying, "{Why is it} that the scribes say that Elijah must come first?"
NA26 – καὶ ἐπηρώτων (5707) αὐτὸν λέγοντες, (5723) Ὅτι λέγουσιν (5719) οἱ γραμματεῖς ὅτι Ἠλίαν δεῖ (5904) ἐλθεῖν (5629) πρῶτον;
WH – και επηρωτων (5707) αυτον λεγοντες (5723) οτι λεγουσιν (5719) οι γραμματεις οτι ηλιαν δει (5719) ελθειν (5629) πρωτον

NAS – And He said to them, "Elijah does come first and he restores all things. And {yet} how is it written of the Son of Man that He will suffer many things and be treated with contempt?
NA26 – ὁ δὲ ἔφη (5713) αὐτοῖς, Ἠλίας μὲν ἐλθὼν (5631) πρῶτον ἀποκαθιστάνει (5719) πάντα, καὶ πῶς γέγραπται (5769) ἐπὶ τὸν υἱὸν τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἵνα πολλὰ πάθῃ (5632) καὶ ἐξουδενηθῇ;
WH – ο δε εφη (5707) αυτοις ηλιας μεν ελθων (5631) πρωτον [ | ] παντα και πως γεγραπται (5769) επι τον υιον του ανθρωπου ινα πολλα παθη (5632) και εξουδενηθη (5686)
