NAS – And he read from it before the public square which was in front of the Water Gate, from early morning until midday, in the presence of men and women, those who could understand; and all the people were attentive to the Book of the Law.
ALE – ויקרא בו לפני הרחוב אשר לפני שער המים מן האור עד מחצית היום והנשים והמבינים ואזני כל העם אל ספר התורה
BHS – וַיִּקְרָא־ לִפְנֵ֨י הָרְחֹ֜וב אֲשֶׁ֣ר׀ לִפְנֵ֣י שַֽׁעַר־הַמַּ֗יִם מִן־הָאֹור֙ עַד־מַחֲצִ֣ית הַיֹּ֔ום נֶ֛גֶד הָאֲנָשִׁ֥ים וְהַנָּשִׁ֖ים וְהַמְּבִינִ֑ים וְאָזְנֵ֥י כָל־הָעָ֖ם אֶל־סֵ֥פֶר הַתֹּורָֽה׃
MAS – ויקרא בו לפני הרחוב אשׁר לפני שׁער המים מן האור עד מחצית היום נגד האנשׁים והנשׁים והמבינים ואזני כל העם אל ספר התורה
WLC – וַיִּקְרָא־בֹו֩ לִפְנֵ֨י הָרְחֹ֜וב אֲשֶׁ֣ר׀ לִפְנֵ֣י שַֽׁעַר־הַמַּ֗יִם מִן־הָאֹור֙ עַד־מַחֲצִ֣ית הַיֹּ֔ום נֶ֛גֶד הָאֲנָשִׁ֥ים וְהַנָּשִׁ֖ים וְהַמְּבִינִ֑ים וְאָזְנֵ֥י כָל־הָעָ֖ם אֶל־סֵ֥פֶר הַתֹּורָֽה׃
RAH – (18:3) καὶ ἀνέγνω ἐν αὐτῷ ἀπὸ τῆς ὥρας τοῦ διαφωτίσαι τὸν ἥλιον ἕως ἡμίσους τῆς ἡμέρας ἀπέναντι τῶν ἀνδρῶν καὶ τῶν γυναικῶν, καὶ αὐτοὶ συνιέντες, καὶ ὦτα παντὸς τοῦ λαοῦ εἰς τὸ βιβλίον τοῦ νόμου.
SWE – καὶ ἀνέγνω ἐν αὐτ ἀπὸ τῆς ὥρας τοῦ διαφωτίσαι τὸν ἥλιον ἕως ἡμίσους τῆς ἡμέρας ἀπέναντι τῶν ἀνδρῶν καὶ τῶν γυναικῶν, καὶ αὐτοὶ συνιέντες· καὶ ὦτα παντὸς τοῦ λαοῦ εἰς τὸ βιβλίον τοῦ νόμου.
