NAS – Or do you not know, brothers {and sisters} (for I am speaking to those who know the Law), that the Law has jurisdiction over a person as long as he lives?
NA26 – Ἢ ἀγνοεῖτε, (5719) ἀδελφοί, γινώσκουσιν (5723) γὰρ νόμον λαλῶ, (5719) ὅτι ὁ νόμος κυριεύει (5719) τοῦ ἀνθρώπου ἐφ ὅσον χρόνον ζῇ; (5719)
WH – η αγνοειτε (5719) αδελφοι γινωσκουσιν (5723) γαρ νομον λαλω (5719) οτι ο νομος κυριευει (5719) του ανθρωπου εφ οσον χρονον ζη (5719)

NAS – For the married woman is bound by law to her husband as long as he is alive; but if her husband dies, she is released from the law concerning the husband.
NA26 – ἡ γὰρ ὕπανδρος γυνὴ τῷ ζῶντι (5723) ἀνδρὶ δέδεται (5769) νόμῳ· ἐὰν δὲ ἀποθάνῃ (5632) ὁ ἀνήρ, κατήργηται (5769) ἀπὸ τοῦ νόμου τοῦ ἀνδρός.
WH – η γαρ υπανδρος γυνη τω ζωντι (5723) ανδρι δεδεται (5769) νομω εαν δε αποθανη (5632) ο ανηρ κατηργηται (5769) απο του νομου του ανδρος

NAS – So then, if while her husband is alive she gives herself to another man, she will be called an adulteress; but if her husband dies, she is free from the law, so that she is not an adulteress if she gives herself to another man.
NA26 – ἄρα οὖν ζῶντος (5723) τοῦ ἀνδρὸς μοιχαλὶς χρηματίσει (5692) ἐὰν γένηται (5638) ἀνδρὶ ἑτέρῳ· ἐὰν δὲ ἀποθάνῃ (5632) ὁ ἀνήρ, ἐλευθέρα ἐστὶν (5748) ἀπὸ τοῦ νόμου, τοῦ μὴ εἶναι (5750) αὐτὴν μοιχαλίδα γενομένην (5637) ἀνδρὶ ἑτέρῳ.
