NAS Jesus replied to her, "If you knew the gift of God, and who it is who is saying to you, 'Give Me a drink,' you would have asked Him, and He would have given you living water."
NA26 ἀπεκρίθη (5662) Ἰησοῦς καὶ εἶπεν (5627) αὐτῇ, Εἰ ᾔδεις (5715) τὴν δωρεὰν τοῦ θεοῦ καὶ τίς ἐστιν (5748) ὁ λέγων (5723) σοι, Δός (5628) μοι πεῖν, (5629) σὺ ἂν ᾔτησας (5656) αὐτὸν καὶ ἔδωκεν (5656) ἄν σοι ὕδωρ ζῶν. (5723)

NAS but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never be thirsty; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up to eternal life."
