NAS – Discipline your son while there is hope, And do not desire his death.
ALE – יסר בנך תקוה נפשך
BHS – יַסֵּ֣ר בִּ֭נְךָ כִּי־יֵ֣שׁ תִּקְוָ֑ה וְאֶל־הֲ֝מִיתֹ֗ו אַל־תִּשָּׂ֥א נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃
MAS – יסר בנך כי ישׁ תקוה ואל המיתו אל תשׂא נפשׁך
WLC – יַסֵּ֣ר בִּ֭נְךָ כִּי־יֵ֣שׁ תִּקְוָ֑ה וְאֶל־הֲ֝מִיתֹ֗ו אַל־תִּשָּׂ֥א נַפְשֶֽׁךָ׃
RAH – παίδευε υἱόν σου, οὕτως γὰρ ἔσται εὔελπις· εἰς δὲ ὕβριν μὴ ἐπαίρου τῇ ψυχῇ σου.
SWE – παίδευε υἱόν σου, οὕτως γὰρ ἔσται εὔελπις, εἰς δὲ ὕβριν μὴ ἐπαίρου τῇ ψυχῇ σου.
