NAS – For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
NA26 – ὅσα γὰρ προεγράφη, (5648) εἰς τὴν ἡμετέραν διδασκαλίαν ἐγράφη, (5648) ἵνα διὰ τῆς ὑπομονῆς καὶ διὰ τῆς παρακλήσεως τῶν γραφῶν τὴν ἐλπίδα ἔχωμεν. (5725)
WH – οσα γαρ προεγραφη (5648) [ [παντα] | ] εις την ημετεραν διδασκαλιαν εγραφη (5648) ινα δια της υπομονης και δια της παρακλησεως των γραφων την ελπιδα εχωμεν (5725)
