Give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; Make His deeds known among the peoples.
Psalms 105:1
O give thanks unto the Lord ; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; Tell of all His wonders.
Psalms 105:2
Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
Boast in His holy name; May the heart of those who seek the LORD be joyful.
Psalms 105:3
Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the Lord .
Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually.
Psalms 105:4
Seek the Lord , and his strength: seek his face evermore.
Remember His wonders which He has done, His marvels and the judgments spoken by His mouth,
Psalms 105:5
Remember his marvellous works that he hath done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
You descendants of Abraham, His servant, You sons of Jacob, His chosen ones!
Psalms 105:6
O ye seed of Abraham his servant, ye children of Jacob his chosen.
He is the LORD our God; His judgments are in all the earth.
Psalms 105:7
He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
He has remembered His covenant forever, The word which He commanded to a thousand generations,
Psalms 105:8
He hath remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
The covenant which He made with Abraham, And His oath to Isaac.
Psalms 105:9
Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
Then He confirmed it to Jacob as a statute, To Israel as an everlasting covenant,

And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
Saying, "To you I will give the land of Canaan As the portion of your inheritance,"
Psalms 105:11
Saying, Unto thee will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
When they were only a few people in number, Very few, and strangers in it.
Psalms 105:12
When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
And they wandered from nation to nation, From one kingdom to another people,

When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
He allowed no one to oppress them, And He rebuked kings for their sakes, saying,

He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
"Do not touch My anointed ones, And do not harm My prophets."
Psalms 105:15
Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
And He called for a famine upon the land; He broke the whole staff of bread.

Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
He sent a man before them, Joseph, who was sold as a slave.

He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
They forced his feet into shackles, He was put in irons;

Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
Until the time that his word came to pass, The word of the LORD refined him.

Until the time that his word came: the word of the Lord tried him.
The king sent and released him, The ruler of peoples, and set him free.

The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
He made him lord of his house, And ruler over all his possessions,

To imprison his high officials at will, That he might teach his elders wisdom.

To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.

And He made His people very fruitful, And made them stronger than their enemies.

And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
He turned their heart to hate His people, To deal cunningly with His servants.

He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtilly with his servants.
He sent His servant Moses, And Aaron, whom He had chosen.

He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
They performed His wondrous acts among them, And miracles in the land of Ham.

They shewed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
He sent darkness and made it dark; And they did not rebel against His words.

He turned their waters into blood, And caused their fish to die.

He gave them hail for rain, And flaming fire in their land.

He spoke, and locusts came, And creeping locusts, beyond number,

And they ate all the vegetation in their land, And ate the fruit of their ground.

And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
He also fatally struck all the firstborn in their land, The first fruits of all their vigor.
Psalms 105:36
He smote also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
Then He brought the Israelites out with silver and gold, And among His tribes there was not one who stumbled.
Psalms 105:37
He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
Egypt was glad when they departed, For the dread of them had fallen upon the Egyptians.

Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
He spread out a cloud as a covering, And fire to illumine by night.
Psalms 105:39
He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
They asked, and He brought quail, And satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
He opened the rock and water flowed out; It ran in the dry places like a river.

He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
For He remembered His holy word With His servant Abraham;
Psalms 105:42
For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
And He led out His people with joy, His chosen ones with a joyful shout.
Psalms 105:43
And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
He also gave them the lands of the nations, So that they might take possession of the fruit of the peoples' labor,
Psalms 105:44
And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
And that they might keep His statutes And comply with His laws; Praise the LORD!
Psalms 105:45
That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise ye the Lord .
