LORD, my heart is not proud, nor my eyes arrogant; Nor do I involve myself in great matters, Or in things too difficult for me.
Psalms 131:1
Lord, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty: neither do I exercise myself in great matters, or in things too high for me.
I have certainly soothed and quieted my soul; Like a weaned child resting against his mother, My soul within me is like a weaned child.
Psalms 131:2
Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.
Israel, wait for the LORD From this time on and forever.
Psalms 131:3
Let Israel hope in the Lord from henceforth and for ever.
