Saul died for his unfaithfulness to the Lord because he did not keep the Lord’s word. He even consulted a medium for guidance, So Sha'ul died for his trespass which he committed against the LORD, because of the word of the LORD, which he didn't keep; and also because he asked counsel of one who had a familiar spirit, to inquire [thereby], So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the Lord , even against the word of the Lord , which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it; So Saul died for his breach of faith. He broke faith with the Lord in that he did not keep the command of the Lord , and also consulted a medium, seeking guidance. Saul died because he was not faithful to the Lord and did not obey the Lord . He even went to a medium and asked her for advice So Saul died because he was unfaithful to the Lord and did not obey the Lord 's instructions; he even tried to conjure up underworld spirits.
