1 Chronicles 11:17

David was extremely thirsty and said, “If only someone would bring me water to drink from the well at the city gate of Bethlehem!” David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me water to drink of the well of Beit-Lechem, which is by the gate! And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, that is at the gate! And David said longingly, "Oh that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem that is by the gate!" David had a strong desire for some water. He said, "Oh, I wish someone would get me water from the well near the city gate of Bethlehem!" David was thirsty and said, "How I wish someone would give me some water to drink from the cistern in Bethlehem near the city gate!" David had a craving and said, "Oh that someone would give me a drink of water from the well of Bethlehem, which is next to the gate!" And David had a craving and said, "Oh that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!" David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me water to drink of the well of Beth-lehem, which is by the gate! And Dauid longed, and said, Oh, that one would giue me to drinke of the water of the well of Beth-lehem that is at the gate. Then David had a craving and said, "Oh that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!" David longed for water and said, "Oh, that someone would get me a drink of water from the well near the gate of Bethlehem!" and he said, "I'm very thirsty. I wish I had a drink of water from the well by the gate to Bethlehem." David had a craving and said, "I wish someone could give me water to drink from the well by the gate of Beit-Lechem!" And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me to drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, which is in the gate! David was thirsty for some water from his hometown, so he said, "Oh, if only I could have some water from that well by the gate in Bethlehem." And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me a drink of water from the great cistern of Bethlehem that is at the gate of the city! David got homesick and said, "How I wish someone would bring me a drink of water from the well by the gate in Bethlehem!" And David had a craving, and he said, "Who could give me a drink of water from the well of Bethlehem that is by the gate!" And David longed, and said, Who shall give me drink, water from the well of Bethlehem that is by the gate? And Dauid was desyrous, and sayde: O that some wolde geue me to drynke of the water out of the well at Bethleem vnder the gate. And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me water to drink of the well of Beth-lehem, which is by the gate! And David, moved by a strong desire, said, If only someone would give me a drink of the water from the water-hole of Beth-lehem by the doorway into the town! And Dauid longed, and sayde: Oh that one woulde geue me drinke of the water of the well that is at the gate at Bethlehem. And David longed, and said: 'Oh that one would give me water to drink of the well of Beth-lehem, which is by the gate!' And Dauid longed and said, Oh that one would giue me drinke of the water of the well of Bethlehem, that is at the gate. And David longed, and said, Who will give me water to drink of the well of Bethleem, that is in the gate? And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me water to drink of the well of Beth–lehem, which is by the gate! Therfor Dauid desiride watir, and seide, Y wolde, that sum man yaf to me water of the cisterne of Bethleem, which is in the yate. And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me water to drink of the well of Beth-lehem, which is by the gate! And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Beth-lehem, that [is] at the gate! And David said with longing, "Oh, that someone would give me a drink of water from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!" David remarked longingly to his men, "Oh, how I would love some of that good water from the well by the gate in Bethlehem." David had a strong desire. He said, "O, if only someone would give me water to drink from the well by the gate of Bethlehem!" David said longingly, "O that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem that is by the gate!" And David longed, and said - Who will give me to drink of the water, out of the well of Bethlehem, that is within the gate? And David longed, and said: O that some man would give me water of the cistern of Bethlehem, which is in the gate. And David said longingly, "O that some one would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem which is by the gate!" and David longeth, and saith, `Who doth give me to drink water from the well of Beth-Lehem, that [is] at the gate!' and David longs and says, "Who gives me water to drink from the well of Beth-Lehem that [is] at the gate!" David had a craving and said, "Oh that someone would give me water to drink from the well of Bethlehem, which is by the gate!"

10The following were the chiefs of David’s warriors who, together with all Israel, strongly supported him in his reign to make him king according to the Lord’s word about Israel. 10 Now these are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who shown themselves strong with him in his kingdom, together with all Yisra'el, to make him king, according to the word of the LORD concerning Yisra'el. 10 These also are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who strengthened themselves with him in his kingdom, and with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the Lord concerning Israel. 10 Now these are the chiefs of David's mighty men, who gave him strong support in his kingdom, together with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the Lord concerning Israel. 10 This is a list of the leaders over David's warriors who helped make David's kingdom strong. All the people of Israel also supported David's kingdom.
