So the commanders of hundreds did everything the priest Jehoiada commanded. They each brought their men—those coming on duty on the Sabbath and those going off duty—and came to the priest Jehoiada.
The captains over hundreds did according to all that Yehoiada the Kohen commanded; and they took every man his men, those who were to come in on the Shabbat, with those who were to go out on the Shabbat, and came to Yehoiada the Kohen.

4In the seventh year, Jehoiada sent for the commanders of hundreds, the Carites, and the guards. Then he made a covenant with them and put them under oath at the house of the LORD, and showed them the king's son. 4 And the seuenth yeere Iehoiada sent & tooke the captaines ouer hundreths, with other captaines and them of the garde, & caused them to come vnto him into the house of the Lord, & made a couenant with them, and tooke an othe of them in the house of the Lorde, and shewed them the Kings sonne. 4Now in the seventh year Jehoiada sent for and took the commanders of hundreds of the Carites and of the guard, and brought them to him in the house of Yahweh. Then he cut a covenant with them and had them swear in the house of Yahweh, and showed them the king's son.
