As for this temple, which was exalted, everyone who passes by will be appalled and will say: Why did the Lord do this to this land and this temple?
This house, which is so high, everyone who passes by it shall be astonished, and shall say, Why has the LORD done thus to this land, and to this house?
And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passeth by it; so that he shall say, Why hath the Lord done thus unto this land, and unto this house?
And at this house, which was exalted, everyone passing by will be astonished and say, ‘Why has the Lord done thus to this land and to this house?'
This Temple is honored now, but then, everyone who passes by will be shocked. They will ask, ‘Why did the Lord do this terrible thing to this land and this Temple?'
As for this temple, which was once majestic, everyone who passes by it will be shocked and say, ‘Why did the Lord do this to this land and this temple?'
"As for this house, which was exalted, everyone who passes by it will be astonished and say, 'Why has the LORD done these things to this land and to this house?'
This house, which is so high, everyone who passes by it shall be astonished, and shall say, Why has Yahweh done thus to this land, and to this house?
And this house which is most hie, shall be an astonishment to euery one that passeth by it, so that he shall say, Why hath the Lorde done thus to this lande, and to this house?
As for this house, which was exalted, everyone who passes by it will feel desolate and say, ‘Why has Yahweh done thus to this land and to this house?'
And though this temple is now exalted, all who pass by it will be appalled and say, 'Why has the LORD done such a thing to this land and to this temple?'
This temple is now magnificent. But when these things happen, everyone who walks by it will be shocked and will ask, "Why did the Lord do such a terrible thing to his people and to this temple?"
This house, now so exalted — everyone passing by will be shocked at the sight of it and will ask, ‘Why has Adonai done this to this land and to this house?'
And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one that passes by it; so that he shall say, Why has Jehovah done thus to this land and to this house?
Everyone who sees it will be amazed. They will ask, ‘Why did the Lord do this terrible thing to this land and to this temple?'
And this house shall be in ruins, and every one passing by shall stand and shake his head in amazement, and say, Why has the LORD done thus to this great city and to this house?
"The Temple is now greatly honored, but then everyone who passes by it will be amazed and will ask, ‘Why did the Lord do this to this land and this Temple?'
And as for this house, which was exalted, all who pass by it will be appalled and will say, ‘Why has Yahweh done thus to this land and to this house?'
And this house that was on high shall be a wonder to everyone who passes by it, they shall shudder and say, Why has Jehovah done this to this land and to this house?
And euery one that goeth by, shall be astonnyed at this hye house, and shall hysse at it, and saye: Wherfore hath the LORDE dealte thus with this londe and with this house?
And this house, which is so high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall say, Why hath Jehovah done thus unto this land, and to this house?
And this house will become a mass of broken walls, and everyone who goes by will be overcome with wonder, and will say, Why has the Lord done so to this land and to this house?
And this house whiche is most high, shalbe an astonishement to euery one that passeth by, and shal say: Why hath the Lorde dealt on this fashion with this lande, and with this house?
And this house, which is so high, every one that passeth by it shall be astonished, and shall say: Why hath the LORD done thus unto this land, and to this house?

Everyone will look with wonder at this house that was once honored. They will say, ‘Why has the Lord done this to this land and to this house?'
And regarding this house, now exalted, everyone passing by will be astonished, and say, ‘Why has the Lord done such a thing to this land and to this house?'
and, this house which hath been renowned, all that pass by near it, shall be astonished, - and say, Wherefore hath Yahweh done, thus and thus, to this land, and to this house?
And this house shall be for a proverb to all that pass by, and they shall be astonished and say: Why hath the Lord done thus to this land, and to this house?
And at this house, which is exalted, every one passing by will be astonished, and say, 'Why has the LORD done thus to this land and to this house?"

Verse 2 Chronicles 7:21. Shall be an astonishment — The manner in which these disobedient people have been destroyed is truly astonishing: no nation was ever so highly favoured, and none ever so severely and signally punished.
