I will pour out my wrath on Pelusium,the stronghold of Egypt,and will wipe out the hordes of Thebes.
I will pour my wrath on Sin, the stronghold of Mitzrayim; and I will cut off the multitude of No.
And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.
And I will pour out my wrath on Pelusium, the stronghold of Egypt, and cut off the multitude of Thebes.
"I will pour out My wrath on Sin, The stronghold of Egypt; I will also eliminate the hordes of Thebes.
And I will pour out my anger against Pelusium, the strong place of Egypt. I will destroy great numbers of people in Thebes.
"I will pour out My wrath on Pelusium, The stronghold of Egypt, And I will cut off (destroy) the population of Thebes.
I will pour my wrath on Sin, the stronghold of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.
And I will powre my wrath vpon Sin, which is the strength of Egypt: and I will destroy the multitude of No.
"I will pour out My wrath on Sin, The stronghold of Egypt; I will also cut off the hordes of Thebes.
I will pour out My wrath on Sin,The strong defense of Egypt;I will also cut off the multitude of Thebes.
I will pour out My wrath on Pelusium, the stronghold of Egypt, and cut off the crowds of Thebes.
The fortress city of Pelusium will feel my fierce anger, and all the troops stationed at Thebes will be slaughtered.
pour my fury on Seen the stronghold of Egypt, and destroy the hordes of No.
And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the stronghold of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.
I will pour out my anger against Pelusium, the fortress of Egypt! I will destroy the people of Thebes.
And I will pour out my fury upon Seen, the strength of Egypt; and I will destroy the riches of No.
I will let the city of Pelusium, Egypt's great fortress, feel my fury. I will destroy the wealth of Thebes.
I will pour out my rage over Sin, the stronghold of Egypt, and I will cut off the crowd of No.
And I will pour my fury on Sin, the strength of Egypt. And I will cut off the multitude of Thebes.
& poure my wrothfull indignacio vpo Sin, which is the strength of Egipte. All the sustaunce of Alexandria will I destroye,
And I will pour my wrath upon Sin, the stronghold of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.
I will let loose my wrath on Sin, the strong place of Egypt, cutting off the mass of the people of No.
And I will pour My fury upon Sin, the stronghold of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.

And I will powre my wrathful indignation vpon Sin the strength of Egypt, & I will destroy the multitude of No.
And I will pour out my wrath upon Sais the strength of Egypt, and will destroy the multitude of Memphis.
And Y schal schede out myn indignacioun on Pelusyum, the strengthe of Egipt; and Y schal sle the multitude of Alisaundre,
And I will pour my wrath on Sin, the stronghold of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.

Sin: or, Pelusium, Now Tineh, a town of Egypt, situated at the eastern extremity of the Delta, twenty stadia from the Mediterranean, near the lake of Menzaleh, and upon a branch of the Nile, to which it gave name. It was the key of Egypt on the side of Judea and Syria, and was therefore strongly fortified and garrisoned; but it is now quite in ruins.

And I will pour out my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt,.... Either the city Sais, as the Septuagint and Arabic versions; or rather Pelusium, as the Vulgate Latin version, so called from "pelos" which signifies "clay" in the Greek language; and the same "Sin" signifies in the Chaldee, Psalms 18:43, and as now called Tineh, from
×××, "clay": it had a very fine haven, and may be called the strength of Egypt, it lying at the entrance of it; and having a strong fortified tower, it was difficult to enter into it; but could not stand before the wrath and fury of the Lord of hosts, when he sent the Chaldeans to it. It is thought by some to be the same with Pithom, built by the first of the pastor kings of Egypt, and fortified by him, Exodus 1:11, according to Manetho z, he put into it a garrison of two hundred and forty thousand men; and the same writer says it contained ten thousand acres of land; according to Adrichomius a, it was two and a half miles in compass, and near it was a vast hollow, which extended to Mount Cassius, and which made the way into Egypt on that side difficult; and is now, as he says, called "campus de Gallo"; in which he is mistaken, as well as Thevenot, and others, who take it to be the same with Damieta:
and I will cut off the multitude of No; the numerous inhabitants of it; hence called "populous No", Nahum 3:8, or "Hamon No";
