But Zipporah circumcised her son with a flint knife. She touched his legs with the skin she had cut off and said, "My dear son, this blood will protect you."
If anyone who isn't an Israelite wants to celebrate Passover with you, every man and boy in that family must first be circumcised. Then they may join in the meal, just like native Israelites. No uncircumcised man or boy may eat the Passover meal!
Remember your agreement with the Lord and stop being so stubborn.

Some of the Philistines brought Jehoshaphat presents - i. e. âsome of the Philistines were among his tributaries.â Compare 2Sa 8:2; 1 Kings 4:21.
Tribute silver - Or, âmuch silverâ - literally âsilver of burthen.â
The Arabians - The Arab tribes who bordered Judaea to the south and the southeast paid Jehoshaphat a fixed tribute in kind. Compare 2 Kings 3:4 note.

The Philistines brought silver, and no doubt different kinds of merchandise, The Arabs, whose riches consisted in cattle, brought him flocks in great abundance, principally rams and he-goats.
