The family groups were Hanoch—the Hanochite family group; Pallu—the Palluite family group; 6 Hezron—the Hezronite family group; Carmi—the Carmite family group. 7 The total number of men in these family groups from the tribe of Reuben was 43,730. 8 Pallu's son was Eliab. 9 Eliab had three sons—Nemuel, Dathan, and Abiram.
