¹ IN my distress I cried to the LORD, and he heard me.² Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lips of the ungodly and from deceitful tongues.³ What shall be given to you? or what shall be added to you, you deceitful tongues?⁴ The arrows of the mighty are sharp; they are as hot coals of oak.
