Read the Bible

¹ HEAR my cry, O God; attend to my prayer.² From the end of the earth will I cry unto thee, when my heart is overwhelmed; for thou hast led me upon a rock and hast comforted me.³ For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from my enemies,⁴ I will abide in thy tabernacle for ever; I will make my refuge the shadow of thy wings.

⁵ For thou, O God, hast heard my vows; thou hast given an inheritance to them that revere thy name.⁶ Thou hast added days to the days of the king, and his years as many generations.⁷ He shall be established before God for ever; mercy and justice shall preserve him.⁸ So will I sing praise unto thy name for ever, when daily I fulfil my vows.
