Cross-References
This is the history of the generations of Noach. Noach was a righteous man, blameless among the people of his time. Noach walked with God.
The LORD said to Noach, "Come with all of your household into the teivah, for I have seen your righteousness before me in this generation.
In seven days, I will cause it to rain on the eretz for forty days and forty nights. Every living thing that I have made, I will destroy from the surface of the ground."
Noach did everything that the LORD commanded him.
Noach was six hundred years old when the flood of waters came on the eretz.
Noach went into the teivah with his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives, because of the waters of the flood.
Clean animals, animals that are not clean, birds, and everything that creeps on the ground
went by pairs to Noach into the teivah, male and female, as God commanded Noach.
It happened after the seven days, that the waters of the flood came on the eretz.
In the six hundredth year of Noach's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day all the fountains of the great deep were burst open, and the sky's windows were opened.
Gill's Notes on the Bible
So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther the queen. Or, "to drink with her" e, that is, wine; for in the next verse it is called a banquet of wine; so they did according to the invitation the queen had given them, Esther 5:8.
