These are the generations of Noah. Noah, a righteous man, had been perfected among his family. Noah walked with God.
And Jehovah said to Noah, You and all your house come into the ark, for I have seen you righteous before Me in this generation.
For after seven more days I will cause it to rain on the earth forty days and forty nights and will wipe away every living substance that I have made from off the face of the earth.
And Noah did according to all that Jehovah commanded him.
Noah was a son of six hundred years, and the flood of waters was on the earth.
And Noah went in, and his sons, and his wife, and his sons' wives with him into the ark, because of the waters of the flood.
And they went in to Noah into the ark, male and female of clean animals, and of animals that are not clean, and of fowl, and of every thing that creeps on the earth,
two by two, as God had commanded Noah, they went into the ark, male and female.
And it was after the seven days, the waters of the flood came into being on the earth.
In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, in the seventeenth day of the month, in this day all the fountains of the great deep were risen, and the windows of the heavens were opened up.
Gill's Notes on the Bible
So the king and Haman came to banquet with Esther the queen. Or, "to drink with her" e, that is, wine; for in the next verse it is called a banquet of wine; so they did according to the invitation the queen had given them, Esther 5:8.

The king at the banquet urges Esther to prefer her petition,
with the positive assurance that it shall be granted, 1, 2.

who were sold to be destroyed, 3, 4.
The king inquires the author of this project, and Haman is
accused by the queen, 5, 6.

king orders him to be hanged on the gallows he had prepared
for Mordecai, 7-10.
