There Is No One Who Does Good

¹ The ^(F1)wicked fool ^(C1)says in his heart, "There is no God."
They act corruptly, they commit abominable ^(F2)deeds;
There is ^(C2)no one who does good.

² Yahweh ^(C1)looks down from heaven upon the sons of men
To see if there is anyone who ^(F1)(C2)has insight,
Anyone who ^(C3)seeks after God.

³ They have all ^(C1)turned aside, altogether they have become ^(F1)worthless;
There is ^(C2)no one who does good, not even one.

⁴ Do all the workers of iniquity ^(C1)not know,
Who ^(C2)eat up my people as they eat bread,
And ^(C3)do not call upon Yahweh?

⁵ There they are in great dread,
For God is with the ^(C1)righteous generation.

⁶ You would put to shame the counsel of the afflicted,
But Yahweh is his ^(C1)refuge.

⁷ Oh, that ^(C1)the salvation of Israel ^(F1)would come out of Zion!
When Yahweh ^(F2)(C2)restores His captive people,
May Jacob rejoice, may Israel be glad.
