When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and said, “Certainly the Lord’s anointed one is here before him.”
It happened, when they had come, that he looked at Eli'av, and said, Surely the LORD's anointed is before him.
And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the Lord 's anointed is before him.
When they came, he saw Eliab and said, "Surely his anointed one is before Yahweh!"
When they came, he looked on Eliab and thought, "Surely the Lord 's anointed is before him."
When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab, and he thought, "Surely the Lord has appointed this person standing here before him."
When they arrived, Samuel noticed Eliab and said to himself, "Surely, here before the Lord stands his chosen king!"
So it happened, when they had come, he looked at Eliab [the eldest son] and thought, "Surely the LORD'S anointed is before Him."
When they entered, he looked at Eliab and thought, "Surely the LORD'S anointed is standing before Him."
And when they were come, hee looked on Eliab, and saide, Surely the Lordes Anointed is before him.
Now it happened, when they entered, he looked at Eliab and thought, "Surely the anointed of Yahweh is before Him."
When Jesse and his sons arrived, Samuel noticed Jesse's oldest son, Eliab. "He has to be the one the Lord has chosen," Samuel said to himself.
When they had come, he looked at Eli'av and said, "This has to be Adonai 's anointed one, here before him."
And it came to pass when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely Jehovah's anointed is before him.
When Jesse and his sons arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and thought, "Surely this is the man who the Lord has chosen."
And when they were come, he looked to Eliab, and said, Surely the LORDS anointed is like him.
When they arrived, Samuel saw Jesse's son Eliab and said to himself, "This man standing here in the Lord 's presence is surely the one he has chosen."
And it happened as they came in, that he saw Eliab, and said, Surely His anointed is before Jehovah.
Now wha they came in, he behelde Eliab, & thoughte, whether he shulde be his anoynted before the LORDE.
And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely Jehovah's anointed is before him.
Now when they came, looking at Eliab, he said, Clearly the man of the Lord's selection is before him.
And when they were come, he loked on Eliab, & saide: Surelye the Lordes annoynted is before him.
And it came to pass, when they were come, that he beheld Eliab, and said: 'Surely the LORD'S anointed is before Him.'
And it came to passe when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the Lords anointed is before him.
And it came to pass when they came in, that he saw Eliab, and said, Surely the Lords anointed is before him.
And it came to pass, when they were come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD’S anointed is before him.
When they arrived, Samuel saw Eliab and said, "Surely here before the LORD is His anointed."
And whanne thei hadden entrid, he siy Eliab, and seide, Whether bifor the Lord is his crist?
And it cometh to pass, in their coming in, that he seeth Eliab, and saith, `Surely, before Jehovah [is] His anointed.'
And it came to pass, when they had come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely Yahweh's anointed is before him.
And it came to pass when they had come, that he looked on Eliab, and said, Surely the LORD'S anointed [is] before him.
It happened, when they had come, that he looked at Eliab, and said, Surely Yahweh's anointed is before him.
So it was, when they came, that he looked at Eliab and said, "Surely the LORD's anointed is before Him!"
When they arrived, Samuel took one look at Eliab and thought, "Surely this is the Lord 's anointed!"
When they had come, Samuel looked at Eliab and thought, "For sure he is the Lord's chosen one who is standing before Him."
When they came, he looked on Eliab and thought, "Surely the Lord 's anointed is now before the Lord ."
And it came to pass, when they entered, that he looked upon Eliab, - and said to himself, Surely, before Yahweh, is his Anointed.
And when they were come in, he saw Eliab, and said: Is the Lord’s anointed before him?
When they came, he looked on Eli'ab and thought, "Surely the LORD'S anointed is before him."
When they entered, he looked at Eliab and thought, "Surely the LORD'S anointed is before Him."

Pharaoh heard about it and tried to kill Moses, but Moses got away to the land of Midian. He sat down by a well.

Slowness to anger makes for deep understanding; a quick-tempered person stockpiles stupidity.
A gentle response defuses anger, but a sharp tongue kindles a temper-fire.
People who won't settle down, wandering hither and yon, are like restless birds, flitting to and fro.
It takes more than talk to keep workers in line; mere words go in one ear and out the other.
If a ruler loses his temper against you, don't panic; A calm disposition quiets intemperate rage.
King Zedekiah caved in: "If you say so. Go ahead, handle it your way. You're too much for me."

And it came to pass, when they were come,.... Jesse and his sons, into the house where the entertainment was; and perhaps before they sat down, went into a private apartment by the direction of Samuel, where he acquainted Jesse with the business he came upon:
that he looked on Eliab; who was Jesse's firstborn, 1 Chronicles 2:13, called Elihu, 1 Chronicles 27:18
and said, surely the Lord's anointed is before him; or this is the person it is his pleasure should be anointed king.
