If I and my animals do drink any of your water, then I will pay for it. Let me only pass through on my feet, nothing else." 20 But Edom said, "You must not pass through." And Edom came out against him with many men and much strength. 21 Edom would not let Israel pass through his country. So Israel turned away from him.
