Won't he stick up for them? I assure you, he will. He will not drag his feet. But how much of that kind of persistent faith will the Son of Man find on the earth when he returns?"

1One day Jesus told a story to his twelve cowboys to teach them about prayer and never givin' up.
2He said, "There was a judge in a town, and this fellow didn't like God or people.
3But there was this one lady who felt like she had been wronged who came to him every day and asked for justice to be done for her.
4For a while, he brushed her off with a gruff rebuttal and sent her on her way, but this woman wouldn't give up.
5Finally, just to be rid of her, the judge did what she wanted because he was tired of seeing and hearing from her every single day."
6And then Jesus said, "See what a godless judge will do for those who never give up?
7So if even a no-good sorry judge will dispense justice, how much more will our loving God hear our pleas that we cry out for day and night? Will he just turn a blind eye to his kids?
8God is going to help his kids right away. But when the Top Hand comes riding into town, will he find anyone with faith?"

hear what the unjust judge saith; and take encouragement from hence to be frequent and importunate in prayer with God; for if such a cruel, merciless, and unjust judge is to be wrought upon by importunity to do justice, who has no principle to influence him, how much more will not God, who is a just judge, the judge of widows, and of the oppressed, a God of great mercy and compassion, who delights in the prayers of his people, knows their cases, and is able to help them, and who has an interest in them, and they in him? how much more will not he regard their importunate requests, and arise, and save them much such like reasoning this is used by the Jews:
