⁵ and my God putteth it unto my heart, and I gather the freeman, and the prefects, and the people, for the genealogy, and I find a book of the genealogy of those coming up at the beginning, and I find written in it: -- ⁶ These [are] sons of the province, those coming up of the captives of the removal that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon removed -- and they turn back to Jerusalem and to Judah, each to his city -- ⁷ who are coming in with Zerubbabel, Jeshua, Nehemiah, Azariah, Raamiah, Nahamani, Mordecai, Bilshan, Mispereth, Bigvai, Nehum, Baanah. Meunim: The first of these variations is attributable to the translation, the original being uniformly, מעונים [Strong's H4586], Meunim; and the latter arises from the mutation of, ו, wav, and, י, yood, and insertion of, ש, sheen, though in the parallel passage the Kethiv is נפיסים [Strong's H5304], Nephisim; and here the Keri and many manuscripts have נפישסים [Strong's H5300], Nephishesim.
