Les sucederá como a Janes y Jambres, que resistieron

Moisés , 8, 9.

El apóstol habla de sus persecuciones y sufrimientos, y muestra

que todos aquellos que vivirán una vida piadosa deben sufrir

persecución , 10-12,

porque los malos hombres y los engañadores irán de mal en peor , 13.

Se exhorta a Timoteo a continuar en las verdades que había recibido,

habiendo conocido las Escrituras desde niño , 14, 15.

verso 2 Timoteo 3:1 _ En los últimos días... Esto a menudo significa los días del Mesías, y algunas veces su significado se extiende a la destrucción de Jerusalén, ya que estos fueron propiamente los últimos días del estado judío.
