Dan Salomo memindahkan anak Firaun dari kota Daud ke rumah yang didirikannya baginya, karena katanya: "Tidak boleh seorang isteriku tinggal dalam istana Daud, raja Israel, karena tempat-tempat yang telah dimasuki tabut TUHAN adalah kudus."
Bermula, maka dibawalah naik oleh raja Sulaiman akan puteri Firaun dari dalam negeri Daud ke maligai yang telah dibuatnya akan dia, karena katanya: Bahwa tiada boleh isteriku duduk di dalam istana Daud, raja orang Israel, karena sucilah segala tempat yang tabut Tuhan sudah hampir kepadanya!

Verse 2 Chronicles 8:11. The daughter of Pharaoh — "And Bithiah, the daughter of Pharaoh, Solomon brought up from the city of David to the palace which he had built for her." - T.
Because the places are holy — Is not this a proof that he considered his wife to be a heathen, and not proper to dwell in a place which had been sanctified? Solomon had not yet departed from the true God.
