Maka raja Asapun mangkatlah beradu dengan segala nenek moyangnya dan dikuburkan oranglah akan dia pada sisi nenek moyangnya dalam negeri Daud, moyangda baginda; maka Yosafat puteranyapun naik raja menggantikan dia.
