Nessuna Pasqua, come quella, era stata celebrata in Israele dai giorni del profeta Samuele; né alcuno dei re d’Israele avea celebrato una Pasqua pari a quella celebrata da Giosia, dai sacerdoti e dai Leviti, da tutto Giuda e Israele che si trovavan colà, e dagli abitanti di Gerusalemme.

Verse 2 Chronicles 35:18. There was no passover like to that — "That which distinguished this passover from all the former was," says Calmet, "the great liberality of Josiah, who distributed to his people a greater number of victims than either David or Solomon had done."
