Meunim: The first of these variations is attributable to the translation, the original being uniformly, מעונים [Strong's H4586], Meunim; and the latter arises from the mutation of, ו, wav, and, י, yood, and insertion of, ש, sheen, though in the parallel passage the Kethiv is נפיסים [Strong's H5304], Nephisim; and here the Keri and many manuscripts have נפישסים [Strong's H5300], Nephishesim.
