16Then King David went in, sat in the Lord’s presence, and said, 16 Then David the king went in, and sat before the LORD; and he said, Who am I, LORD God, and what is my house, that you have brought me thus far? 16 And David the king came and sat before the Lord , and said, Who am I, O Lord God, and what is mine house, that thou hast brought me hitherto? 16 Then King David went in and sat before the Lord and said, "Who am I, O Lord God, and what is my house, that you have brought me thus far? 16 Then King David went in and sat in front of the Lord . David said, " Lord God, who am I? What is my family? Verse 1 Chronicles 17:25. Hath found in his heart to pray — The Targum expresses a full sense: "Therefore thy servant hath found an opening of mouth, that he might pray before Thee."
