24In those days Hezekiah became sick to the point of death, so he prayed to the Lord, and he spoke to him and gave him a miraculous sign. 24 In those days Hizkiyahu was sick even to death: and he prayed to the LORD; and he spoke to him, and gave him a sign. 24 In those days Hezekiah was sick to the death, and prayed unto the Lord : and he spake unto him, and he gave him a sign. 24 In those days Hezekiah became sick and was at the point of death, and he prayed to the Lord , and he answered him and gave him a sign. 24 At that time Hezekiah became so sick he almost died. Compare 2 Kings 20:0 and notes. The “sign” is not (as in the margin) the miraculous cure, but the going back of the shadow on the dial of Ahaz (see 2 Chronicles 32:31).
