26 ਤੱਦ ਹਿਲਕੀਯਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਅਲਯਾਕੀਮ, ਸ਼ਬਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਆਹ ਨੇ ਕਮਾਂਡਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹਾ, "ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਅਰਾਮੀ ਬੋਲੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲ ਕਰੋ, ਅਸੀਂ ਉਹ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ ਸਮਝਦੇ ਹਾਂ। ਇਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੇ ਸੁਣਦਿਆਂ ਹੋਇਆਂ ਜੋ ਕੰਧ ਉੱਤੇ ਬੈਠੇ ਹਨ ਸਾਡੇ ਨਾਲ ਯਹੂਦਾਹ ਦੀ ਭਾਸਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੱਲ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ।"
