1 Umhobe ka-Asafu. UThixo umi ebandleni likaThixo, Ugweba phakathi koothixo; uthi,2 Kunini na nigweba ngobugqwetha, Nibanonelela abangendawo? (Phakamisani.)3 Thethani ityala losweleyo nelenkedama, Gwebelani olusizana nolihlwempu.4 Sizani osweleyo nolihlwempu, Bahlanguleni esandleni sabangendawo.5 Abazi, abaqondi, Bahamba-hamba emnyameni; Ziyashukuma zonke iziseko zehlabathi.
6 Ndithe mna, Ningoothixo, Ningoonyana bOsenyangweni nonke niphela.7 Noko niya kufa njengomntu, Niwe njengomnye kubathetheli.8 Khawusuk’ ume, Thixo, gweba ehlabathini; Ngokuba uya kuzidla ilifa wena zonke iintlanga.
