It is interesting that 3 of Israel’s great national prayers are in Dan. 9, Ezra 9, Neh.9.
We have here the longest recorded prayer in the bible. vs.5-38.
Just two days after the glad Feast of Tabernacles the people came together in a solemn assembly. This was a solemn public confession of their sin, and it was to be directed by the Levites. When they came together, the book of the Law was
Leviticus 23:23-44 believer.
(3) 1st Fruits = Christ’s Resurrection being the 1st fruits to ours.
(4) Pentecost = descent of the H.S. after Christ’s Ascension.
Interesting a gap (in the months) between these 2 sets of feast.
Christ’s 2nd Advent:
(5) Trumpets = the future gathering together of God’s people.
(6) Day of Atonement = the future cleansing of God’s people.
(7) Tabernacles = the future Joy of God’s people in His Kingdom.

Acts 19:1-20 questions are difficult to answer, but some are difficult to know to ask.
Both Eternal life & our life here on earth come down to having the right answers. But most often people just don’t know what questions to ask!!!
Let me help with 5 Questions this morning from Acts 19:1-20.
What Baptism did you receive? What Training did you receive? What Gift did you receive? What Jesus did you receive? What Freedom did you receive?

Certainly this is a biblical warrant for Christians today to pray for the temporal needs of others.
(4) Every Christian parent can echo vs.4 & even make it a prayer!
(5) You do faithfully whatever you do - We have nothing to do with how much ability we've got, or how little, but with what we do with what we have!

SAMUEL’S FAREWELL ADDRESS!
SAMUEL’S FAITHFULNESS! (1-5)
(1,2) The elderly prophet/judge Samuel addressed the nation of Israel publicly for the last time in his career.
He now transfers the civil authority to Saul. The Israelites go from being led by Judges (for 500 years) to their 1st king.
