We are living in the “year of acceptance”, the day of grace!
Possibly pointing to the year of Jubilee – (Lev.25:8-13)
Thus, it’s a time of releasing slaves, canceling all debts, & making a new beginning. (sounds lie being Born Again)
Trust Christ, & begin your Jubilee now!
Reject Him, & face judgment!

Supremely confident that God would give them the land, they ask if they could inherit their father’s land since they had no brothers. (usually got dowry if married)
The 5 daughters had the courage to ask for their fathers inheritance, & they got it.
God rules & says, “yes” & instructs Moses to grant this request, but with one qualification. The daughters must marry men within their tribe of Manasseh

Her noise annoyed them.
She had many strikes against her: [1] her nationality was against her [2] she was a woman in a male dominated world [3] Satan was against her (1 of his demons took control of his daughter) [4] the disciples were against her [5] and for a time it even looked like Jesus was against her.
Great Persistence: What if Joshua gave up on his 6th lap? What if Namaan didn’t go down on his 7th dip? What if the man at night needing bread stopped knocking? What if the

Remember how a few days before Passover, the lambs would be examined to make sure they were not blemished. (Sheep Gate, N temple mnt) [from orig Passover, Ex12:5]
Well, its a few days before Jesus’ last Passover on earth & God the Father allows His Son,The Passover Lamb, to be examined for any blemish.
Peter tells us we were redeemed with the precious blood of Christ, as of a lamb without blemish
Matthew 23:1-12 used here & as a reference to God.
Now, I guess you can sometimes use, The High Most Awesome-est Right Reverend Brian J Bell the Maximus every once in a while :)

IS GREATNESS FOUND IN BEING SEEN? (5) 2 ways to be seen
Many keep the laws of God to the eye, but violate them in the heart.
These men used Religion to Attract Attention, not to Glorify God.
They even used Religious ornaments to
Mark 1:14-28 pictures:
Our Lord’s 40 days in the wilderness remind us of Israel’s 40 years in the wilderness.
Israel failed when they were tested, but our Lord succeeded victoriously.
The second picture is that of the last Adam. (1 Cor.15:45).
The first Adam was tested in a beautiful Garden and failed; but Jesus was tempted in a dangerous wilderness and won the victory.
Here we now mark the transition from John’s ministry to Jesus’.
Vs.14 says, After John

John 10:1-21 are His flock.
Ps.100:3 We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Is.40:11 He will feed His flock like a shepherd; He will gather the lambs with His arm, & carry them in His bosom, & gently lead those who are with young.
Ps.95:7 For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture, And the sheep of His hand (or, the sheep under His care).
Why does He compare us to sheep?
We are prone to wander (All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one,

CHRIST’S FAREWELL ADDRESS! (4-8)
WAIT…UNTIL! (4,5)
Wait – Also see Lk.24:49.
This waiting/tarrying lasted a whole 10 days, no longer.
In Christian service there is a delicate balance between spending time w/the Father (in worship, praise, & intimacy), & in obeying the Fathers
Romans 13:1-7 doesn’t say.
Paul doesn’t give the type of government to submit to.
He doesn’t specify a Democracy, or Socialist, or Totalitarian gov.
Democracy isn’t the best Government anyway…Theocracy is!

Marriage (Mawwage) - 9 out of 10 people will get married. A large % of these marriages will end in divorce. Those who remarry ⅔ will end in divorce.
Pollster Louis Harris has written, "The idea that 1/2 of American marriages are doomed is one of the most specious pieces of statistical nonsense ever perpetuated in modern times." It all began when the Census
Galatians 2:1-21 been pretty exciting. Some seemed like a waste of time, some were important life/ministry changing events.
